Friends of Children Everywhere is a nonprofit organization consisting of families formed through international adoption.  FCE's membership includes approximately 100 families who live primarily on Long Island.  Although the majority of children are Asian, FCE has members with children adopted from Russia, South America and India and is open to all families with internationally or domestically adopted children.  There are a number of families with biological and adopted children.

FCE is an organization which allows children to get to know, socialize and become friends with other internationally adopted children.  Children will enjoy attending FCE member events, while at the same time realizing that many other families are just like their own. Parents also have the opportunity to share experiences and be source of information to other adoptive parents.  Being an FCE member also provides parents with an avenue to learn about non FCE cultural and adopted activities that they may wish to pursue.  An example is the Also Known As Mentorship (AKA) program that enables children to paritcipate in a mentorship program with adult mentors who were adopted internationally.  We also raise funds to enable us to sponsor a child who is not able to be adopted as well as contribute to orphanages in various countries.
